On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for July delivery traded at USD2.832 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 2.98%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.818 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.818 and resistance at USD3.081.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.89% to trade at USD97.33.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for July delivery fell 2.66% to trade at USD58.13 a barrel while Heating oil for July delivery fell 2.63% to trade at USD1.9059 per gallon.
