On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for August delivery traded at USD2.860 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 2.80%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.869 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.733 and resistance at USD2.869.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.05% to trade at USD95.40.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for August delivery fell 0.92% to trade at USD59.72 a barrel while Heating oil for July delivery fell 0.57% to trade at USD1.8655 per gallon.
