On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for June delivery traded at USD2.811 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.24%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.817 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.511 and resistance at USD2.817.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.24% to trade at USD95.61.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for June delivery fell 0.30% to trade at USD58.97 a barrel while Heating oil for June delivery fell 0.00% to trade at USD1.9822 per gallon.
