On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD2.594 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.72%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.620 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.533 and resistance at USD2.693.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD98.17.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for June delivery rose 0.00% to trade at USD56.61 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery rose 1.44% to trade at USD1.8800 per gallon.
