Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.788 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.735 and resistance at USD2.895.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.00% to trade at USD97.61.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for September delivery fell 1.80% to trade at USD47.65 a barrel while Heating oil for August delivery fell 0.00% to trade at USD1.5934 per gallon.
