On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for August delivery traded at USD2.744 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.64%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.746 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.644 and resistance at USD2.852.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.46% to trade at USD96.23.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for August delivery rose 0.83% to trade at USD53.22 a barrel while Heating oil for August delivery rose 0.36% to trade at USD1.7423 per gallon.
