On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for July delivery traded at USD2.639 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.48%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.639 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.556 and resistance at USD2.724.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.07% to trade at USD95.56.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for July delivery fell 0.80% to trade at USD57.53 a barrel while Heating oil for July delivery fell 0.55% to trade at USD1.8338 per gallon.
