Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Investment, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which rose 0.89% or 180.0 points to trade at 20460.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.71% or 60.0 points to end at 8560.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.51% or 60.0 points to 11820.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 0.53% or 160.0 points to trade at 30200.0 in late trade. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 0.50% or 140.0 points to end at 27600.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 0.45% or 120.0 points to 26580.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 12 to 10 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 1.55% or 2.17 to $138.10 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.81% or 35.50 to hit $1924.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.55 to trade at $1286.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.10% to 2873.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.02% to 916.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 100.12.
