Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Real Estate Development and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.74% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 4.12% or 2.04 points to trade at 51.50 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) added 3.74% or 1.93 points to end at 53.50 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was up 3.62% or 3.25 points to 93.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Gypsum Company (SE:2090), which lost 8.27% or 2.30 points to trade at 25.50 in late trade. Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) declined 3.76% or 0.87 points to end at 22.25 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) shed 3.16% or 0.94 points to 28.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 114 to 50 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.60% or 0.36 to $59.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.50% or 0.32 to hit $62.70 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.01% or 12.10 to trade at $1189.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.2573, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 94.33.
