On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1190.80 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.29%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1189.80 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1183.60 and resistance at USD1209.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.00% to trade at USD97.44.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.10% to trade at USD15.813 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery rose 1.10% to trade at USD2.724 a pound.
