Investing.com - Gold futures were lower in Asian trade on Thursday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1083.50 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.19%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1082.70 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1080.20 and resistance at USD1098.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.06% to trade at USD97.92.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for September delivery fell 0.09% to trade at USD14.540 a troy ounce while Copper for September delivery rose 0.20% to trade at USD2.357 a pound.
