Investing.com - Gold futures were lower in Asian trade on Friday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1170.00 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.09%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1169.20 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1141.60 and resistance at USD1177.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.22% to trade at USD99.23.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.01% to trade at USD16.108 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 0.17% to trade at USD2.655 a pound.
