Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1189.70 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.29%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1187.50 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1168.40 and resistance at USD1199.30.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 1.24% to trade at USD94.09.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for July delivery fell 0.61% to trade at USD16.478 a troy ounce while Copper for July delivery fell 0.33% to trade at USD2.925 a pound.
