On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1203.70 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.37%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1194.90 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1194.90 and resistance at USD1223.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.27% to trade at USD95.26.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 1.03% to trade at USD16.282 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 1.59% to trade at USD2.655 a pound.
