Investing.com - Gold futures were higher in Asian trade on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1162.20 a troy ounce at time of writing rising 0.18%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD1164.30 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1153.80 and resistance at USD1200.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.15% to trade at USD98.76.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery rose 0.22% to trade at USD15.668 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery rose 0.38% to trade at USD2.629 a pound.
