Investing.com - Gold futures were higher during the U.S. session on Thursday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1199.40 a troy ounce at time of writing rising 0.12%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD1208.90 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1194.60 and resistance at USD1223.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.42% to trade at USD96.39.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery rose 0.19% to trade at USD16.188 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 0.20% to trade at USD2.654 a pound.
