Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 1.44% or 65.0 points to trade at 4580.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.12% or 220.0 points to end at 19920.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.95% or 200.0 points to 21200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which lost 1.69% or 240.0 points to trade at 13940.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.49% or 20.0 points to end at 1325.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 1.28% or 110.0 points to 8510.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 6 and 9 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.91% or 2.44 to $125.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 1.33% or 27.00 to hit $2003.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 11.07 to trade at $1278.07 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.05% to 2896.75, while BRL/COP fell 0.05% to 890.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 96.64.
