Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.76%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.20% or 35.0 points to trade at 707.5 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.16% or 320 points to end at 10440 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 3.15% or 310 points to 10150 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 1.81% or 3.4 points to trade at 184.8 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) declined 0.86% or 3.4 points to end at 393.6 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) gained 0.13% or 1.0 points to 789.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 104 to 55 and 6 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.15% or 1.51 to $46.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.57% or 1.80 to hit $48.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.22% or 2.50 to trade at $1111.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.99% to 6.8714, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4596.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.83% at 98.06.
