Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in U.S. trading hours on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD52.78 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.42%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD50.60 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.60 and resistance at USD57.95.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.52% to trade at USD96.93.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.18% to trade at USD57.27 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.49 a barrel.
