Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in U.S. trading hours on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD58.23 a barrel at time of writing falling 2.36%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD58.05 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD58.05 and resistance at USD61.57.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.53% to trade at USD95.09.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 2.13% to trade at USD61.91 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.68 a barrel.
