On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD60.28 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.02%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD59.34 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.51 and resistance at USD60.70.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.55% to trade at USD97.47.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery fell 0.82% to trade at USD65.03 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.75 a barrel.
