Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in U.S. trading hours on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD58.05 a barrel at time of writing falling 2.79%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD57.72 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD57.72 and resistance at USD60.94.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.99% to trade at USD97.42.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery fell 2.69% to trade at USD63.76 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.71 a barrel.
