Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD50.59 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.64%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD50.41 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.34 and resistance at USD54.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.06% to trade at USD97.70.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.16% to trade at USD56.83 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.24 a barrel.
