Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD56.48 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.78%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD56.41 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.45 and resistance at USD59.69.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.09% to trade at USD96.20.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.81% to trade at USD61.56 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.08 a barrel.
