On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD59.17 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.88%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD59.12 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD59.12 and resistance at USD61.57.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.06% to trade at USD95.42.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.63% to trade at USD62.80 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.63 a barrel.
