Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for April delivery traded at USD46.05 a barrel at time of writing falling 2.14%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD45.95 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD45.95 and resistance at USD50.79.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.51% to trade at USD99.62.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery fell 0.91% to trade at USD56.56 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD10.51 a barrel.
