Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD50.16 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.39%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD50.05 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.05 and resistance at USD51.58.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.09% to trade at USD97.50.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.73% to trade at USD56.55 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.39 a barrel.
