Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD51.63 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.08%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD51.49 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.76 and resistance at USD53.89.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.06% to trade at USD96.99.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.87% to trade at USD57.78 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.15 a barrel.
