Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD51.91 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.81%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD51.88 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.58 and resistance at USD56.78.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.12% to trade at USD97.00.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 1.73% to trade at USD56.45 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.54 a barrel.
