Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD58.73 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.69%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD58.72 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD57.94 and resistance at USD59.96.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD95.77.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.72% to trade at USD63.04 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.31 a barrel.
