On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD58.02 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.52%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD57.95 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD57.95 and resistance at USD60.46.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.26% to trade at USD95.33.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.38% to trade at USD61.77 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.75 a barrel.
