Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD56.91 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.27%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD56.80 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.07 and resistance at USD57.95.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.05% to trade at USD96.23.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery fell 0.19% to trade at USD64.51 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.6 a barrel.
