Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD56.23 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.32%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD56.09 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD55.76 and resistance at USD58.41.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.03% to trade at USD96.92.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery fell 0.91% to trade at USD64.08 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.85 a barrel.
