Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD56.88 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.48%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD56.53 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD55.73 and resistance at USD58.41.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.18% to trade at USD96.90.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery fell 0.83% to trade at USD64.74 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.86 a barrel.
