Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD56.24 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.64%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD55.74 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD55.74 and resistance at USD58.63.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.08% to trade at USD98.13.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery rose 1.22% to trade at USD62.84 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.6 a barrel.
