Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD52.97 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.88%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD52.78 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD48.11 and resistance at USD54.13.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.26% to trade at USD97.99.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 0.71% to trade at USD58.43 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.46 a barrel.
