Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD44.58 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.36%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD44.38 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD44.36 and resistance at USD49.47.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.15% to trade at USD99.88.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 0.42% to trade at USD53.24 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD8.66 a barrel.
