Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for April delivery traded at USD48.85 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.16%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD48.55 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD48.20 and resistance at USD51.22.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.13% to trade at USD98.74.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery fell 0.09% to trade at USD56.65 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.8 a barrel.
