Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in U.S. trading hours on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD50.83 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.76%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD51.39 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.10 and resistance at USD52.54.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.73% to trade at USD97.47.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.69% to trade at USD57.04 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.21 a barrel.
