Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in U.S. trading hours on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD52.17 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.07%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD53.17 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.91 and resistance at USD53.89.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 1.03% to trade at USD96.95.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 1.26% to trade at USD58.26 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.09 a barrel.
