Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in U.S. trading hours on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD61.26 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.85%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD61.81 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.83 and resistance at USD61.81.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.56% to trade at USD94.63.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 1.18% to trade at USD65.64 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.38 a barrel.
