Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in U.S. trading hours on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD59.95 a barrel at time of writing rising 3.10%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD60.38 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.83 and resistance at USD60.38.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.04% to trade at USD95.19.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 3.19% to trade at USD64.69 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.74 a barrel.
