Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in U.S. trading hours on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD61.30 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.84%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD61.56 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.51 and resistance at USD61.56.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 1.56% to trade at USD96.00.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 1.13% to trade at USD65.61 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.31 a barrel.
