Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD53.12 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.63%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD53.81 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.58 and resistance at USD55.34.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.98% to trade at USD95.72.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.74% to trade at USD59.05 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.93 a barrel.
