Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for April delivery traded at USD50.97 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.40%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD51.21 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD48.71 and resistance at USD52.40.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.45% to trade at USD96.83.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery rose 1.09% to trade at USD61.14 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD10.17 a barrel.
