Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD59.65 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.08%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD59.70 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD59.27 and resistance at USD61.57.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.08% to trade at USD95.45.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery rose 0.18% to trade at USD63.40 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.75 a barrel.
