Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD58.02 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.04%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD58.03 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD57.83 and resistance at USD61.58.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.20% to trade at USD95.69.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 0.10% to trade at USD62.17 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.15 a barrel.
