Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD58.33 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.12%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD58.42 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD56.51 and resistance at USD60.25.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.10% to trade at USD97.03.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 0.33% to trade at USD63.10 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.77 a barrel.
