Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD49.52 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.24%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD49.53 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD47.05 and resistance at USD50.45.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD97.82.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.05% to trade at USD55.12 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.6 a barrel.
