Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD45.97 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.49%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD46.06 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD45.08 and resistance at USD48.62.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.19% to trade at USD98.22.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.11% to trade at USD50.24 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.27 a barrel.
